Transition to District of Transformation
Parent & Community Meeting
During the 2024 Legislative session, the legislature passed a law to abolish the Mississippi Achievement School District, effective June 30, 2025, and to transition the Humphreys County School District to "District of Transformation" status, effective July 1, 2025.
Representatives from the Mississippi Department of Education, along with the Superintendent of the Mississippi Achievement School District, will conduct a meeting for parents and community members to provide information about the transition process. Date, time, and place are indicated below:
